10,950 ono

Hairdresser bought it ???

I quite like them - would have one in my garage.

nice car, esp the amg one…

I recently had the free use of an SLK 200 for 1 month. All “fur & no knickers” is how I’d describe it, & there’s no way I’d spend 31K of my money on one. Never been in an SLK 350…they may well be better.

The funny thing was that a few of my female neighbours commented that I’d got a nice new car  They won’t be offered in a ride in the Exige

Rob - the 200 bit might be the real issue - 350 should make a difference (184bhp vs 306bhp on paper). I think they also do diesels now as well. Was yours the manual g/box?

You must be getting old - talk of “all fur & no knickers” and female neighbours reminds me of this:

or one more age appropriate for you:

LOL Steve  Who’s the babe in the bottom photo?

Actually, I was referring to the quality of finish, as well as performance of the SLK 200 eg seat comfort/crappy cheap plastic dash & fittings etc. The roof mechanism is impressive though, but I suppose that costs a small fortune!

Great as a hairdresser’s car

Its the wife’s car, we’re moving to America.

Maybe a hairdressers car but its faster to 60 than most Elises thanks to the 7G gearbox, not to mention mid-gear pull from the V6. It also handles very well for a car which is 1450Kg.

Car is immaculate and in tip top condition.

I had an SLK350 for an evening, it would eat most elises for dinner pace wise. I thought the dash etc were ok tbh but the roof squeaked on the one I borrowed which would drive me mad.
Still, thats alot of car for the money imho and I’d have one.

Whose bothered if it won’t out corner an Exige or an Elise, anyone can drive in a straight line, ie Auotbahn’s

I think all the above comments about Mrs Blacktoy’s car are true - it’s a lot of car for the money, & looking again at the photos it looks immaculate. The seats are different to those in the car I borrowed.

Not for me, but if I were in the market for one…

Good luck on all counts Blacktoy - hope all works out well for you & family

LOL. Calm down.

There’s plenty of grip and traction in the P-Zero’s providing its dry so it not like it won’t corner. I have owned a 275bhp Exige with Nitrons for 4 years so I think I know the difference in handling thanks.

As Pesky says, good luck in the States and for the future

Thx chaps.

I was hoping on the new Exige V6 but its not coming to the US for a while apparently. One thing is for certain though - I will own another Exige one day

She’s a pensioner now, Angela Lansbury

Mike - thanks. Is she one of your friends? If so, bring her to Anglesey

She’s even to old for me, and at 86 she probably couldn’t get in and out of an Exige !!!

Bugga!

I run a remapped 3.2 Audi TT coupe as my day to day car , and it would eat the Merc in ALL departments, and 95% of anything else .
