Jason,
What front spoiler are you running? Is that a standard Motorsport piece? Also is that a custom underpan which extends as a splitter just ahead of the lip spoiler?
I want details…
The cooler was fitted there because it was easier to box it in, avoiding having to run piping to cool it, it now consumes all the air the side vent can give. I have seen a max temp of 84 degrees in average driving so far so I am very happy with it at the moment. Had I have sited it on the chassis sill it would create access problems for alternator work etc, and just generally got in the way.
I use the extended and opened up roof scoop for most of the cool air into the engine bay, exhausting through the completely opened sections of the rear clam, running a small pipe to the alternator will be more than sufficient to cool it I am sure. Also normally run a small flap on the rear cover which guides the air straight down onto the engine before it exhausts out the rear.

The car looks GREAT!!!
Thanks,

Hi Mike,
It is the std motorsport spoiler. The extended lip is kevlar mounted to the undertray and spoiler. I now have a really big wing, yes probably bigger than Pesky’s, I will post some pics later today, and thought that if I was increasing downforce at the rear I better try to balance it in the front. I have not done it in one piece as an undertray because as you can imagine it is a consumeable item on the road. As long as it is securely mounted to the undertray and will be able to transmit loads properly and not just flex I am sure it will be fine that way, has worked so far.
