BTW, come back with some ‘smart’ riposte if you wish, but I shall not waste any more time even reading it.
As so many people have said (but clearly it has fallen on deaf ears…or overwhelming arrogance) you are not showing yourself as clever, just plain rude.
Might I suggest you simply shut up until you grow up…
This is so tiresome. I’n fed up of reading your confrontational BS. It’s got to the point that nobody even gives a shit about your rebuild anymore.
As such, since your net contribution to our community is so far in the red, can I kindly request you stop posting on our forum and go and service your insecurities someplace else. Thanks.
I’d actually like to see what happens when it is finished, first time driven in anger and the valves meet the pistons in an uncomfortable embrace?
From a technical perspective this thread is interesting, please keep it to that, if you don’t like peoples opinions just ignore them
So what are your subframe plans? After all, you’re way ahead of me. You may not have anything to show for it, but there could be a discussion. You may even learn something new.
OK…I don’t get this. Help me out here. You tell me that there is now way that I’m ahead of you and then now you want to know what I’m up to. What is it that you are telling me? And what is it that you want? And now there is a posse forming to ban me…
If you need to go back to the pub, do that first…and then lay it all out so a stupid Yank can understand…
I’m not overly bothered about where you are with your subframe, but I suspect you have done even less than we did. It was something we looked into a couple of times, and didn’t take it very far. The standard subframe can be improved on no doubt - otherwise your car wouldn’t have the additional shear panel fitted. The car we were going to get it made for, had a rule change banning any modifications to them or straight replacement of them. A small amount of buttressing was allowed, so that’s all we did.
The list in my original post was our ‘wish list’ of what we would have done had we gone any further. There’s some really easy ways of implementing some of them, some that just need a blank sheet of paper and some that would have caused knock on affects for other parts along the way. I’m sure you have worked out which is which?
What am I telling you? Nothing. What do I want? An adult conversation. Not sure why you are scared of a bunch of flowers, but it takes all sorts.
An adult conversation would be very good start…but I’m also looking for a technical conversation…at my level…
And it is also very tough to take seriously someone so brazen and cocky to blindly claim that you doubt I’m “way ahead” of you…
I’m willing to “play” along with your laundry list for a rear subfame, but I’d like to clarify two items on that list. I want to give you the benefit of the doubt, but I’d also like to gauge who I’m dealing with.
There was a desire for the subframe to last 10 years - would that be as a race/track car only or one suitable to everyday use…and would that be anyplace on earth with paved roads or specifically in the Middle Eastern Desert?
you must have a developed an exceptionally thick skin. Nobody is interested in justifying whether they have the credentials to operate at ‘your level’ and I think pretty universally, everyone is sick of your arrogance, narcissism and rudeness. It beggars belief that you can’t take the hint.
