After years of seeing knackered 3 series rebadged as M3s and the like, I came across this:

Youve gotta admit, its kind of cool… or is it just me…

Sorry, not cool, I think it’s just you.

For a runaround it’s not bad. (Steering on the wrong side mind…)
Is it a 530d with M5 body panels?
If it were an estate I’ve go for it…
Im pretty sure its an M5 just rebadged, I dont think it would be worth putting on all the M5 grills, mirrors and exhausts just to stick the old badge back on.
Surely its gotta be the ultimate Q-car…

Gods knows but the 5 is a bad car as is the 7! The new 3 coupe is decent looking but the 3 saloon is another bad looking car! Either way i hate it when people badge up cars different to what the acctually are! Are they CSL wheels, or are they different to the ones on the M5
Naw… a nice Mercedes S65 4-door saloon (V12 biturbo) badged as a S320 CDi… that’d surprise quite a few people.
Are they CSL wheels, or are they different to the ones on the M5
Nah, CSLs use BBS RXs, no idea what those are though…
David
nowt wrong with an M5 - excellent motor. Looks like someone with too much money is having a laugh by badging it a 530d - bravo!
I often see this guy in a 3 series diesel (320d) on the way to Oxford. It’s badged as an M3 with the added bodykit, even the numberplate says M3 XXX.
I think even the dark sunglasses he wears are badged M3.
Do like leaving him for dust in my knackered Audi 1.9 TDI
