Rear towing

My current set up is very crude and would like to replace with a neater option.

So what are the options for rear towing?

How difficult to fit and where to purchase from?

Thanks Alan

Assuming you mean a tow hoop to be pulled by rather than to do towing. I have the sector 111 boomerang available in Hull. My silencer is so big I couldn’t use the rather neat one that attaches over the top of the can. Hanger 111 do a neat solution that needs a bit of welding to the subframe.

Hopefully wont get used, but you have to be prepared on track.

I have a larini back box fitted with a panel delete kit. Do you know if it will it fit with this? If so how much are you looking for it?

I’m not selling!
The boomerang would fit but is heavy compared to other options.
This requires the weld but is neat:

Here’s a Boomerang:

It doesn’t require special fiting.
These attach to one downlink only and don’t fancy being jarred out the kitty litter with only one bolt only.

To be fair, they say fit two.
This is the neatest if it will fit your box

This was what I was looking for.

Thanks for all the info. Very helpful.

I do like the look of the ones from seriously lotus. Just trying to figure where it fits to?

Hi Alan,

It bolts into the 2 larger bolts on the diffuser. These then bolt upto the rear subframe. Then the towing eye isocated to the right of the exhaust outlet.

I have a Sector 111 rear towing eye for sale, could do with painting though,

Kieran, is this what you have?

How much are you looking for? How come you are selling it?

I’ve played around with the idea of using the same solution as on the Elise Cup R:

The question is in which height this would end up on the S2 Exige rear clam (potentially with removed rear panels), and what variants of exhaust system it would work with. Single, side outlet I guess would be awfully close to the tow strap.

Now spoken for, awaiting payment
