Rear plate panel delete

Hello guys, anyone removed the rear number plate panel, if so get some pics up for me please

I need to know a few things if poss. I’m going to order the 2bular gt3 side exit exhaust and make a new longer difuser, but the main thing I need to know is if you guys have kept the big heat shield that was above the oem exhaust or just done away with it altogether or just trimmed it up out of site.

Any information on this would be greatly appreciated

Trim it out of sight, you need to leave the shield in place above the exhaustbto protec the boot floor.

As above. It’s a good look, the best on the S2 IMO.

Just fitted one of Jim’s new exhausts last week: SELOC Forums

Thanks guys  logic did tell me that but wanted to be sure it was the right thing to do, is it best to just heat rap the cat pipe where it bends near the clam on the left hand side ??

You will get away without the heat sheild on the U bend.

Yer bud looks sweet  where did you get the brace rods from ?? Did you get a silenced de cat pipe aswell bud

Keep the heat protection.
This is with it but the exhaust too high

Trim it. I’ve now got a second layer under the OEM and some gold on the boot floor ( and a lower can!)
