Hi, I’m in the process of replacing (and documenting) failed leds in my tail lights but I need to power them up to mark on the pcb which has failed.
Can anyone tell me which wires to send 12v up.
The outer lights wires are red,black,green, purple
The inner lights are yellow, brown, black.

I have no reason to believe they will be stepped down to lower than 12v
Standard 12v adaptor worked fine. I believe the pcb steps down to 2v approx for the LEDs

Good effort. Out of interest, how did you get the lense off the PCB?
