Rear Clam Protectors

After a garage lost the ones on mine has anyone got a part number or know where to get some of the rubber strips that protect the leading edge of the rear clam.

I’m probably going to be out of luck but would like to get some back on ASAP.

Nice one, thanks for that.

There are othe rubber profiles available from the market if you get stuck.
Let me know if you need a contact.

Thanks Mr B, got them from B&C in the end for 14 Inc VAT.
He did say the part number above is not right, I will add the number incase anyone else needs some when they get to me (if they have sent the right parts lol)

Sorry, if I mislead you, the number was taken off an invoice from Nick Whale. Glad you got sorted. If I remember correctly if was a windscreen seal

Thats ok, I wont run you off the track for that

Little update if anyone else needs any of these. I got the rubber strip from B&C for 14. Just had a quick look and found the same extrusion’s for 2.56 (U47), I know i should have looked round first but i thought getting them from B&C they would be original equipment

If you do need any I reckon the US159 would fit better and look neater.

Hope it’s some help to someone…

If you get the US159 can you let me know how it fits, I’m not that happy with the fit of the bits i got.

I know its a nothing part and no one will probably ever look at it but it bugs me lol

Great link - thanks!

I also got US159 during my recent respray - it fits pretty well and I’m pleased with the end result, thanks again for the link!

Good to hear they fit well.

where do these rear clam protector goes?

Where the rear clam edge goes over the sill as they are very prone to stone chip damage,if not protected with a rubber. [/quote]

Ohhh…got it now…thanks!!

Just a quick thanks for saving me some of my hard earned pennies.

I was about to buy edging strip from B&C and thought I’d do a quick search on here first, and bingo a cheaper and possibly better alternative - it may not be a big saving, but every penny helps and means more money for fuel and trackdays
