Radium Bits for Exige S (MY07)

Just had the Radium Catch Cans and Expansion Tank fitted to the car.

Amazing quality and improve the look of the engine bay. Expansion tank was a little tricky to sort out but well worth it.

Pics to follow…

Where did you get them from ? & pictures
Please

I got them through Hangar111 - pics on the Radium website.

If you want some pics of them fitted u2u your email and I’ll send some over  .

I had an few issues with the expansion tank.

This caught my eye on LotusTalk

Mine sits at a rock solid 86c on the move and rises slightly when sat in traffic - no major issues.

Hangar111 had issues with the installation to make sure that all of the air was out of the system.

Didn’t have any issues fitting mine or with it after. Still going strong with Nitro

Is this for looks only, or is there a functional issue resolved as well?

Catch cans definitely work  .

Expansion tank was cosmetic/functional.

Was referring to the expansion tank.

Catch cans is almost a must have on a 2zz.
I went with Saiku Michi - works well.

I can second the radium. As ade said he fitted. Great addition.

I have them on my 2zz and never find anything in one can and the other has very little after a day on track, maybe a tablespoon of oil. Is that the norm?

The valve cover works as air/oil separator as well as a cover for the top of the engine. For a stock engine, the air/oil separator works fine. Once supercharged, it is on the limit…as you have found out. But, once your engine wears some more and you start getting more “blow by” past the rings, you will start seeing more. So, you have a healthy engine and/or you are not pushing it all that hard…

What you are getting sounds about right.

Agree.
It is a small amount / track day, but after let’s say 10 track days it accumulates to a significant amount.
Most of that oil would end up in the bottom part if the intercooler.

Out of the tailpipe …
