Radical Cars

At the Autosport show I went for a nosey at the Radical Car stand. A young lad who worked for Radical who introduced himself as “Alex” showed me round the cars. He was the Radical development driver and mentioned his day job was in Formula 2.

I looked him up on Internet and it turns out he’s Alex Brundle, son of Martin.

This is him in action…

Those Radical’s look fantastic! Maybe a replacement for the 211 one day…

Awesome machines but they are a full on race car and should be bought to do just that, they are not what I call track day cars. Far too fast in the right hands and a pain in the arse in the hands of a pudding!!

Anyone who has had a go-kart will know how much time, effort and money they consume to keep running and maintained… That’s nothing compared to what a Radical will devour!!

At Anglesey last year I remember the only Radical amongst us Lotus’s shat its bottom end down the back straight and the track was shut for 20 mins whilst they cleaned up the mess.

Still want one though!!
