Any recommendations for the smallest size of red top battery that functions reliably in the exige? 15, 20 or 25? Needs to withstand normal lights on application but no Imax. Drain isn’t a problem as I isolate via the Caretek when not in use.
Old pic…carpet but I use an Odyssey PC680 Wes with a jacket, about a 4kg or 5kg without saving. Works very well mate.
It’s the RedTop 25 Wes. Same as Johhny’s.
I need one too… shall I see if we can get a bit more off for 2?
These Guys are selling the Odyssey for 85.99 inc vat + 8 delivery, Its 7kgs where as the Varley is 6.1kgs but thats quite a saving.
Another vote for the Odyssey.
Small, light and not mega bucks.

I just had a look at the spec for the Odyssey PC680 and it’s a standard fit for BMW R1100 GS bikes. Problem solved, I can nick one from my dad’s bike next week He can bump start it (have you tried to push a GS, makes an S2 Exige feel light)
Has anyone tried the smaller red top 15? It’s 14 Ah vs 16 Ah on the 25 / PC680?
I’m going to Cholmodeley Castle tomorrow so I’ll see if anyones doing any trade stand deals.
