R888 vs ad08r

Hey guys, rear tyres are looking abit thin. I have r888 on the car at the moment but 3 tyre shops are suggusting that the yokohama ad08r are like the next best thing. Anyone had experience with them? Wet and dry. But mainly the car will be in dry.

If not does anyone know any tyres shop locally to wickford that will get r888 in. Rochford tyres can but only soft compound, thought they come in medium aswell

Big fan off ZZS’S And ZZR’s here.

Thats what ive just noticed are the avon zzr any good? Also what sort of prices too 225/45/17

Also what the difference zzr and zzs?

Not sure about price. A little more tread on a ZZS, more of an all rounder, better in the wet but still very good in the dry. Moves around more but readable. Personally I think you will learn more with a ZZS but go a second or two faster with a ZZR.

I went from Toyo R1Rs to AD08R - AD08’s are much better - I do road trips mainly rather than track days, so they work well for me

I went for the yoko and must say im happy with them, stick very well and im mainly doing road use too. Thanks for ppl views
