Just bought some motorsport seats and harness from Elise parts. My question is this should i keep the original seats for when i sell the car to give to the new owner? My S1 is original with no mods apart from the seats and harness and i do not want this modification to put someone off buying it. Am i just being paranoid?
I’ve gone through the same dilemma,in the end i sold mine.If you do sell up in the there are plenty of seats available at any one time for you to swap back.

How much did you get for them?
paid � 160 for a pair of S1 original seats, had some wear which matched the quote that they were taken out at 20K miles.

Did the same and sold mine after hanging on to them for over a year. Think I got close to �400.
I really don’t think that not having original seats will put someone off. in fact i think if there were two cars that were identical in all other respects a good set of aftermarket sports seats would close the deal!
