I know that there is 5.1 DOT and then some higher grade racing fluids. Can you use these higher grades on a Exige that mostly does track days or do they need to be changed too much etc.
SRF is the best brake fluid you can buy, end of storey. It doesn’t like being mixed with other stuff, so a good flush through is required when you put it in. It doesn’t need to be changed loads either. I would say a little half litre bleed through once a season will keep your brake pedal as hard as Pesky’s abs!!!
I used to have a bit of a stock of it, but am running low at the moment. It costs loads from Demon Thieves, but you do get what you pay for.
Sean…
Cheers

Oi, it’s S2s which have ABS!
Raceparts (UK) Ltd have been advertising large stocks of SRF in the back of Autosport over the last few weeks. Not sure what sort of price they are charging but they may be worth a call.
01491 822000, or on the web
Never dealt with them, but thought I’d mention the ad anyway incase there’s a good deal to be had.

Well after having a heart in mouth moment at Knock Hill on Sunday (no brakes )
I have ordered up from the above a 1 liter of SRF at 47.57 including VAT and postage (compared to Deamontheaves 47.75 excluding VAT and postage!)
