Quartz S1 Exige...

^^^ Thanks for letting me know, i m sure i will look for one with the motorsport seats

I painted one set of my wheels grey. Some hated it and called it ‘battleship grey’, some thought it subtly different but all agreed that they looked good when on the move if not when parked up. I’m back to black now. Wheels have the biggest overall impact of the way a car looks and the reason this carattracts attention is because the wheels are ‘non-standard’. After all it is just grey!

You are Amy Housewine, & I claim my 10.

Nooooo!!

I was referring to the thread about ‘those cars you had lusted after but could not admit to’ !!!

I would like a car! Not a roller scate mate! [/quote]

Tosser  I’ll have you know Peter that the Lupo GTi is a cracking little car - OK it’s about as big as a rollerskate but with an unburstable little 120bhp 1.6i engine it made the perfect city car.

As for the wheels Matt…I quite like silver, just don’t paint 'em white as these tossers will harangue you relentlessly

 Thats me told off then!

White wheels are soooo 2005  Isn’t the current ‘fashion’ to have bright green/red/blue wheels? I blame Porsche, and they can only just get away with it on the GT3 RS.

Mines booked in next week to have flames down the side, the rear clam opening extended to fit 4 exhausts, and the arches rolled to fit 20" spinnaz!

But back to reality, I’ll probably get the wheels put back to Black, possibly matt rather than gloss? And as far as I’m aware, the Hanger111 seats are identical to the motorsport ones? 1600+retrim costs though mean they aren’t cheap.

The ‘2005’ Look (aspirational)

The ‘2005’ Look (actual)

The ‘2010’ Look :sunglasses:

2010 is soooooooooooooooooooo 2010!!!

Have you met Christian (Quo) yet

2010 look is far nicer. And I have no idea who Quo is…aren’t they a band?

One of many questions in my head…ditching the side/roof scoop extensions, is that a bad idea? Do they actually have a noticable effect on air intake?? I’m not keen but I’ll leave them on if they’re beneficial…

Status Quo actually got there name from Christian, he is that old!!!

Bloody cheeky shits!!

Nice exige, mines Quartz Metallic also, no flames as some suggest but a few other modifcations…

Ha Ha im sure your older than me sean, and I still have all my hair.

Hope your getting some sleep ben, personally I think you should have kept the white wheels they suit your hairdresser lifesyle much better!!

hahahahahaha on Ben’s life style wheels

I still have all ofmy hair, i just ‘choose’ toshave it all off!!

I’m 24, don’t know about you.

Im sure you shave it all off becasue of the colour dont you???

24, hmm I think you got the numbers back to front!!

hahahahaha

As a trained observer, I’m shocked to say I missed the colour of the wheels on first viewing but thought it looked a great car. Good to have you aboard.

hanger111 are doing the seats at the moment - http://www.hangar111.com/web-store/310-340r-elise-s1-exige-race-seat-harness-holes.html

Yeah I noticed…I’m really tempted but I’d rather put the money toward an Emerald/Nitrons and other minor bits at the moment, the seats were down to bottom on the “To Do” list. But they are on offer…
