Push fit hose ends Oow my hand hurts

Bloody hell is there an easy way to fit these push fit hose ends.

I have used them for the oil cooler hose 1/2" managed to get them fitted but it was a real fight.

Is there a secret to fitting them I did heat the hose up with hot water which made it a bit easier but it must be near on impossable with anything bigger than 1/2".

Still got a nice bruise on my hand a week later and before anyone says anything it is from pushing the ends on.

Small amount of oil on the inside helps. Normally you can’t get them all the way home until hot, then the last 2mm are much easier.

If you want a challenge, the smaller the pipe the worse it gets!!
