Cheers Rick

Thankful that you posted this in the S2 section , cos in the S1,s it would give rise to medical claims due to repetetive strain injury !!

JFK<< runs for cover …

Yep i put one in my 2004 car.

Don’t really use it, but didn’t like the blanking plate that was behind the gear lever. The Honda s2000 part fits almost exactly, then you just need to wire it up with a relay.

Assume that means it is wired in parallel rather than you never start you car

I’ve had start buttons on various cars , but whilst they were operational , I rarely , if ever used them, as it’s more natural ( and quicker) to release the steering lock and turn the key to start the car.

It may look ’ cool’ , but frankly a waste of resource. IMHO :astonished:

Well i prob wont use it but it will look cool.

I’d like to fit one of these to mine, so would be really grateful Mcwill, if you could post fitting/wiring details, is it DIY? and where you got the starter button from.
Thanks

Just orderd mine off ebay fom savage car styling it looks like the ones they use in the hondas. Am going to have to get someone to fit mine cos wiring is not my strong point. Would be nice if i could have it set so i dint need t use the key?

This is mine…

Looks smart there. Your car looks really mint, you must do a fair bit of detailing on it.

Not sure what happened there as the link should go to one picture!!!

Hey ho…
