Just got some advertising literature through the post from Lotus. It relates to the Lotus Summer Festival which is actually 3 weekends highlighting a different car each time:
Elise S - 12-13 Aug
Exige S - 2-3 Sept
Europa S - 16-17 Sept
but what the fook is the free “Pure Lotus” oxygen canister they are giving away as an enticement to turn up? Might have to wait to it appears on Ebay to see

Well i have pencilled in the weekend in my diary and may well enter the high temple of banality which is JCT to see what the Europa looks like in the flesh…could do with something different to belt along the M62 to Hull in…
I’m off down to look at it I only work about 2 miles away.

I’m actually tempted to ring up and ask for a test drive on the day…if only I didn’t have such a poor opinion of the place and the people there…
I turned up owning 2 loti one of which was with them having some work done and I nearly had to suck the salesmans cock to get a go in an S2 Exige - not very good to be fair
I’m not sure who buys cars from them as most owners I talk to think they are a waste of space?
not sure if its a good or bad thing that I’ll be taking the missus if I go…
Had a really hard time trying to get a test drive in a 340R they couldn’t move, but someone else I know went out for a couple of hours in it when they knew he had no intention of buying it
