After recently having a puncture and using the (useless) aerosol in the boot, I needed AA asistance. They used a puncture repair kit that got me home. Anyone bought one of these? where from? Also any recommendations for a good small compressor?
Apart from buying two spare wheels, are there other options?

If they used a hook type thing to push a rubber bung in, then pulled the hook out, leaving the bung in place, then I suspect it is the same thing they can use on bike tyres to ‘get you home’.
Try a standard bike shop, or this might be what you want:
Never known them to be used on a car, but I dont see why not.
