Problem running exiges on IE9

Is anyone else struggling? I keep having issues where the page freezes and I cannot click on anything?
Its happening on the Virgin media page but not seloc or norlog.
Does anyone have any ideas? I have had to install firefox to type this?
Or any tips for a better browser? I don’t really like fire fox.

Andy

try chrome

same problem here

Same problem for me also.

Ex77

Yes this has happened quite a lot for me too.

I installed the latest version of IE and it has done the trick so far

I thought ie9 was the latest? I did not have a problem before I installed it a couple of weeks ago but it’s happening all the time now and the only answer is to shut ie down and start again.
No issues on iPad, I have downloaded chrome but I have to set up a google account and so I’ll have to look at it when I have more time.

I was running ie8 and downloaded the ie9. No problems using 9 so far

That’s interesting as I am completely the opposite way round.

I only use Chrome on Windows 7 and I dont have any browsing issues.

I have problems with log in!
I sign on and everything is fine but when i change to the next page it logs me out - very annoying.
The fix is to use the compatibility view (Looks like a torn piece of paper at the RHS of the browser bar (works for me anyway!!)

Same problem here in IE9

same here on ie9, its a ballache!

well moved to chrome and all is good, cheers

Ok I have an answer… I think

Exiges and other IE9 problem sites will have a piece of broken paper in the address box.
Try clicking the broken paper thing, if that does not work (it did not for me) go to tools >> F12 developer tools , that should bring up a box and on the top line it will have browser mode.
Then click Internet explorer 9 compatability view.

All should then be well…

Probably.

crikey mate you should run your own forum with those skills
