Pro Alloy uprated intercooler

Has anyone fitted the Pro Alloy uprated intercooler and cold air feed kit? Have any test comparisons been done,i think this is quite new on the market.

No - have a radiator though!!

Forgot to mention its the new version which is larger with a bigger shroud and heat deflector plate

I thought all intercoolers didn’t work ?
Surely proalloy wouldn’t sell a product they didn’t believe in … Would they ??

Someone on Seloc has just fitted one…

Oh that’d would be a recommendation then ???

Put some self adhesive gold on the underside of the deflector plate.

Fit a chargecooler instead…

It was designed and built on Porkies S2. He has offered it up for a comparison, fingers crossed it actually works better than the standard one. I did hear that the side feed pipes are a smaller diameter than Renton fitted to Porkies car on the old Pro Alloy setup.

I think we all know the issue is one of air flow to the cooler (whatever cooler it is) rather than the quality / size of the cooler itself.

Charge cooler is the only way to do it really, in my opinion.

Happy to be proved wrong though.

I would have to agree…
