Price for my car?

Hey guys. What would a reasonable selling price be for my car. How much would it cost to reimport to uk?

Offering for sale my 2000 Lotus Exige RHD with Honda k20 engine.

After 15 years its time to part with my 2000 Lotus Exige S1. This is nr 174 of only 601 built. It has done 67000 miles. Vehicle is RHD and a non AC version.

Engine was swapped 14yr ago and is a Honda k20a. It was initially supercharged but was later rebuilt to NA. It delivers 220Hp and 220 Nm from 4000rpm. Sports catalytic converter means MOT is no problem. It has a 6 speed Honda gear box. Its controlled by a Hondata Kpro chip which can be accessed. New clutch and timing chain in 2021

Further more car has: Upgraded full aluminium radiator, Long range aluminium fuel tank, Spitfire toe links, Öhlins 2-way adjustable dampers and adjusted spring rates. Smaller battery, AP disc brakes. New Lotus spec Yokohama tires since 2021. Removable Momo steering wheel with spacer. Engine immobiliser not working, Alarm is working.

Car is in general good condition and has been serviced largely by myself over the years.

It doesnt look like an easy answer for bringing the car back to the UK. HMRC seem to suggest VAT would be liable for it but there might be some relief.

This would sadly put on 20% of the car cost to the UK buyer should they not qualify for the relief

Thx, understand. Prices seems to be all over the place so its a bit confusing. We will see.
