Hello Mrs Miniman here !Had a great day really - nothing fell off the car and the thing felt on rails, just passed noise with 97.999 ( sport exhaust with silenced cat pipe ) but still got blackflagged when running together with Martin and Steve - two Exiges were too loud [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image]Venue was really good if a little lacking in atmosphere … typical airfield.But the tarmac was very smooth, the corners challanging ( at 100 mph [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif[/image] ), plenty of run off in most places so quite safe, long straight (110), but not too long - so a thumbs up from me.Cheers to Martin & Steve for lending the video after there Exige broke an engine mount half way through the afternoon [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/frown.gif[/image]

Hi All,As Miniman has said, Good track surface, not too many cones, good run of areas but lacking a little proper circuit prestige.Noise limit was also difficult, We resorted to putting on our std exhaust and cat on to get a DB reading of 96.8 so we were quiet enough to run.Engine mount failure was on the bottom “anti-rock” mount. It was actually where the flat part of the bracket meats up with the smaller rubber bush housing, It has snapped at the end of the weld (bugger).We are going to get it re-welded and add some more support to the bracket to stop it happening again (hopefully). Apart from that the rest of the winter mods, Nylatron bushes, rebuilt engine Etc were all perfect.Martin & Steve.

The silenced cat pipe is from eliseparts - seems to keep it just quiet enough - also on driveby … No didnt try the Elise-R, I don’t want to get to tempted [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/wink.gif[/image] Steve & Martin - the video arrived today - thanks very much it looks great and Mallory in the wet loked fun !! - I’ll try and get my blackflag on a .mov file !!Oh Ian appreciated you getting his spin - I especially liked the clapping [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image]
