Spent the morning at Anglesey yesterday.
I decided to really push things hard and accept the laps would be a bit ragged but its all about pushing myself further and then learn to bring it back more controlled.
Working on more video, but for now my little moment when I got close to another car and got distracted…

You were lucky not to collect some poor sod coming out of the pits or hit the wall … very lucky.

I went in to the corner as quick as normal but misjuged the pace of the car in front. My mistake was to lift rather than left foot brake.
And collecting or being collected is one of risks one needs to be comfortable when signing the indemnity form.
I am not sure I did anything reckless, just made a mistake.
Ignore me, I was moody when I wrote it (been up since 4.15am with my teething daughter).
For the record, I wont ever be comfortable getting collected on a trackday as I dont think car to car contact should ever happen. I suppose the only time it might happen is due to mechanical failure.

you’re in good company Damon, at the exiges day in April one minute I was catching uncle P, and the next I wasn’t 
Seems to me you were just far too slow with the corrective steering… you can see you applied a bit of oppo to catch it and then just held it there, as it transitioned into a greater slide. It’s an easy mistake to make, but once you’ve done a few, you learn how to catch those.
Did the same at Donny earlier in the year D. Was pushing to hit the limiter (counting the bounces ) going up to Coppice and was taking Mcleans faster and faster. No traffic tho.
Please publish a list of track days you intend to attend!!! 
I am definately not comfortable with the thought of being collected or collecting another car…thats why I do track days not races…
