Anyone using these engine mounts? Too hard for fast road/few track days a year?
Yellow ones are best as a mix between road and track use Phil.

Pretty busy at work got 3 new machines arriving, cnc machining centre, robot welder and manipulator and a trip to China to plan/sort so never had spare 5 minutes.
I’ve got some on mine already ones I bought elise parts just wondered what the difference was and if they were worthwhile
When I had the yellow ones fitted there was a noticeable increase in vehicle vibrations - to the point where the front plate can be seen to vibrate 
Not sure I’d want any harder if that’s what the black ones are.
I have Powerflex blacks on mine.
Great on track with noticable improvments in trottle response, handling and gear change. But they do cause vibrations, especially when idling.
Never tried the yellow ones, but I’m happy at the moment so would not consider a switch.
Phil i have just had the yellow ones installed, little bit of vibration but nothing to serious.
Ones I have at the minute cause little vibration but not much. Tempted to try them worse case will have to change if they are too bad
I went from the Yellow inserts to Black ones. Cant say I notice much more vibration, mainly at start up and idle its a bit more noticeable.
After that I think they are the same.
Have both in stock if you need them quickly…

I felt the black ones were a little bit too soft for me, resulting still in too much engine movement. I removed them, sold them on and purchased the yellow ones. Yep agreed on the vibration, but for me it feels sharper on gear change.
Any of them do make a difference, just comes down to how much vibration your prepared to put up with!
The black powerflex ones are harder than the yellow ones unless your on about the ones from elise parts
The yellow powerflex vibes are brilliant. I’d never go back. Makes the whole experience more fun.
Just fitted the black Elise-Parts ones, pleased with them, haven’t really noticed any additional vibes at any revs.
The only place you will notice vibration with the power flex ones is at idle.
Definitely notice the difference in vibrations from elise shop to powerflex black series mounts. Will see what they are like after few more miles
