OK THIS STUFF was mentioned a little while ago. Its not often I clean the car but when I do, it does not seem to matter how long I spend on the wheels they always dry to a dirty finish ruining the overall finish of the car.
I’m no GJOB but it would be nice if there was a simple and quick solution, i.e., using the above product.
Any recommendations?
I have this stuff and have used it once to good effect and after 3 winter months is still working well, BUT it took some work to do it properly.
1, Remove Wheel and degrease inside & out.
2, Apply a coat of polish.
3, Next apply a coat of Wax
4, Apply the wheel sealant.
The above process is a complete PITA and took me a couple of days doing a wheel at a time but the results are well worth it, and more importantly the future cleaning is very easy.
I did this over Xmas when the weather was rubbish,

Yep did the same as above, its good stuff.
Thanks for the replies. Showing my ignorance, I didn’t realise that I needed to polish and wax as well
Anyway going to buy some and give it a go.
Call me a numpty, but I cheat. I clean the wheels, and then smear a thin coat of the Turtle Wax wheel dressing cream stuff over them by hand. Leave it five minutes, and then remove the excess. Comes up lovely until you use the brakes with any force!
FWIW and I don’t know if you can get it over their but I have used Rejex for a number of years on my wheels. I put it on once a year at most. I just wash the wheels after washing the car and they stay very clean. Rejex lasts much much longer than any wax I have ever used. I use it on the rear diffuser too to help clean off the muck
My wheels are matt black, as is my undertray. How will they look when they are waxed? Do they get a satin sheen or do they stay matt?
You will get a bit of a shine but it wont last. I cheated and got mine powder coated satin black.
My stock wheels and diffuser are black. The wheels look no different, the undertray may look slightly shinier. If they are not stock and truly matt black then I wouldn’t try Rejex.
