I picked up an AIM Smartycam to see what kinda data logging I could do for fun…
The intake temps are in F* and the EGT is in C*… It’s fun to watch the G meter going down hill…

I am looking to put the AIM GPS sensor on my son’s Kart. When you look at the lines taken arround the circuit, how accurate is it?
Will it show a line that is 30cm wider than the first?
There are some great you tube videos on the data analysis with the Mychron and Race Studio 2, it looks like a good tool to find the last few tenths.
Dudes, this is a rough road with dust on it from the recent high winds we had and most of the run is down hill so I’m carrying a lot of speed while my foot is off the boost peddle…

I’ve got the G metter set at 2G’s, I think that’s right. I’ve gotta call Smartycam and find out how to display the road onto the video…

haha. I have edited actually Ben, during a really boring trade show I was at recently. Just got to transfer it off my Mac onto my PC and get it uploaded. It is still over 500MB though.

For some reason the throttle reading isnt working. I guess I screwed up the config. It works now, just not in this vid. I’m gutted because I have my ‘Craners Flat’ vids I wanted to put up. Doh!!!
