So when choosing bear in mind that a calender needs to fit in one corner. And Mrs G suggested that selecting with seasons of the year in mind could also possibly add something.
With ten months of the year remaining, we are looking to select our top 8 pictures, with one more to be made up (possibly this weekend!) from the Exiges.com group picture from Croft last year and the final one to come from a as yet untaken group picture at Donnington (29th March - book now if you haven’t!).
Please select your 5 favourite and voting will finish at 6pm next Friday (10th March), when the results should appear. After that I’ll ask for the full res images to be sent and we’ll put something together.
Unfortunately thumbs of each pic couldn’t be displayed in the voting form, so below is a summary of all the photos and under that is the correspondingly numbered voting form.
if we take the seloc one as an example my mac will put my icons etc over the calendar and the logo - so it’d work much better if the car has horizontally flipped and the the logo and calendar were put on the other side…
as i’m typing this i can hear you saying it’s my own fault for using a mac. lol.
I think transparency of the logo and calander will be the problem with DIYing it. You’ve got anyway with your effort on the SELOC one because of the uniform backgorunds behind the images. If they’re delivered as JPGs (my plan) then you won’t be able to strip the layers out.
Absolutely, I wish to make no claim for coming up with the idea, just liking it!
I’m currently looking for a bit of freeware that will automatically change the wallpaper at the start of each month. There’s lots out there but they seem to want to change it every few seconds! Let me know if you know of anything.
