Here’s a couple of pics I took at the opening round at Brands Hatch yesterday. Click to enlarge.There seems to be a number of differences between this engine set-up and our Exiges’ don’t you think? The distributor looks like it’s fixed directly to the head for a start? I am pretty sure it�s an oil cooler. They used to have it mounted at the top of the engine bay to catch the air from the roof air intake. I saw it when I shown round the Motorsport workshop.

Where is the throttle linkage to the throttle bodies. and what is with the quick release air box? Three jubilee clips to hold a hose on to the air box. Something going on in there…
