Well I finally got round to getting a new screen (they slid it under the clam BTW, no damage or problems at all so easy job!)…
So on with the Sunstrip of Pesky… But it’s on OK however it’s tiny, not really a sunstrip per ce
So where can I get a deeper one, it could be because I’m a short ar$e… What’s the deepest you can legally go?

In fact, I have fitted a deeper sunstrip on my own car, cos I’m a shortarse too. (Also wooden blocks on the pedals so I can reach!).
Drop me an email via this bbs with your full name & address & I’ll sort one out for you - tell me how deep you want the background to be, & whether or not you,ve fitted the logos (in case you those replacing too).
HOWEVER, all this is conditional upon you not taking the fecking roof of ya mota
IIRC didn’t someone fail an MOT becuase the sunstrip was in the windscreen wiper sweep area ?
Even with the tiny one the windscreen wiper still goes over it at the top… Although there’s a couple of marks on the windscreen on each side so I’d assume that’d be the maximum depth allowed.
OK pesky, you got me! I’ll keep the roof on just for the deeper sunstrip LOL! Nah I’ll keep it on for just the fact I can’t be ar$ed! LOL!
Regarding the MOT, the sunstrip should not encroach more than 40mm of the swept area, the way round this, is to fit a smaller wiper for the MOT. Thats what I had to do.
