Went to Anglesey today to do my ARDS test. Had a great day, the rain kept off and most important of all I passed!!
Nice one Sean
you kept that quiet when I spoke to you yesterday
Well done Sean!
You know me mate, I am a man of few words!! lol
or you didn’t want me to take the piss if you failed
Top man, congrats!
Ian
Well done Sean - but how much weight will the novice cross add to the car ?
Best get 10 races in quickly to get the weight back down under 600kg
Well done, mate
Which car did you take the test in, & did you get plenty of lappage?
Cheers guys!!
Yeah I am worried about the sticker, I am thinking of drilling it out a bit!!
Did it in a Puma matey, was good actually. Learnt loads. Must have done a good 60 odd laps

Good news - I think you only need 6 signatures to loose the “X”

That’s the great thing about taking the ARDS Test @ Anglesey - once you’ve passed, one to one instruction, & plenty of lappage thrown in too

I must have got totally ripped @ croft then, 2 laps with the instructor behind the wheel and 4/5 with me in it. I was given my sheet and told - Thank you, come again!!!
Gav
No you weren’t ripped off, I’m sure all the circuits except Anglesey operate that way. Also, don’t forget that Richard, who operates the circuit, is also the tester, so there is not the usual “commercial pressure” on him to carry out a lot of tests on the same day
I really enjoyed my Ards, we did loads of driving we went on a skid pad, we also drove caterhams and did 1 20 minute session and 1 30 minute session in exige s2’s the only test part was at the end of the day for about 10 minutes the rest was just for a laugh and instructing
Did it in a Puma…
Everyday on the way to tha station - woo hoo!

Did feel a little ripped when I finished, but hey ho, left with what I went for.

Better experience at Mallory - 5 laps with the instructor, 5 with me in a Goilf and then the test and could I remember what the union jack flag meant - nope.
Passed and then got a couple of laps in a Formula ford.
how much is the ARDS test at angelsey??
