Go and buy an American SUV.
go for it,
if it looks cr@p just drive it against the curbs for a few minutes
you paid for it
you can mess it up any way after a few miles its going to come off
Based on replies to date I think it’s fairly safe to say that the general opinion is that you should leave well alone.
If you really want to just go for it. Your car, your tyres. Do what you want. I wanted stripes and half the people I spoke to said “no” (admittedly though, so far everyone has said “no” to your idea!)
think i’ll use chalk first, then i can wash it off
question is - what colour chalk?

Can you get black chalk?

For God Sake WHY
1A) It was a long time ago and tastes change…
When I buy new tyres for the 4x4 I always have the choice of mounting the tyres with white letters out or in. I always choose in.
Why choose white - if I’m correct the Yoko slicks come with the wording in bright red.
If you really must, you can get a white tyreart paint pen from your local chav friendly car shop.
I say why not… I think on a dark car it could look good… I’d say give it a shot, perhaps you could try mocking it up with some white insulation tape first just to get a small idea of how it’ll look.
Please get some medication ASAP, DON’T DO IT, just an opinion of course
Looks good sometimes

After painting the tyre walls you could have a go at the interior … some ideas for you

Chalk! in Wales? you won’t need to wash it off, it’ll come off next day (or before) in the rain. Think about this:- when your driving along no one will be looking at your wonderfull car, they’ll be fixated by the white line on your tyres - it’s a definate no, no, no, & probably no again just for good measure - are we getting through to you? Obviously stronger accciiid than usual. NOT P.S. May as well get some of that rising & falling bouncy suspension stuff too!
