Pagid pads

Found the Brembo items bit soft

Can anyone recommend the best Pagid compound to fit on the front and rear (part numbers would be really useful)

Cheers my dears

What useage % track/road?

RS-42’s unless your a driving god on track, in which case RS-14’s.

Performace Friction pads are the way to go IM, especially if you are doing a lot of track work. They are cheaper than Pagid’s as well.

I have RS14’s and love them, find them great on the road. Will probably try the PF’s next time though.

You will get more brake dust with the PF’s but its a question of whether you are a driver or a poseur

wot he said^^^

I have used pagid 42’s for years and have recommended them to everyone (i’ve used them for the last 3 years racing so they are not just limited to occasional trackday use…), so when you know something works you tend not to change. Tried the 14’s and just dont get on with them at all, just kept killing discs every 5 minutes with bad pad deposits and they didnt really inspire under your foot for various reasons so back to 42’s.

Anyhows I tried a set of the PF pads at Hockenheim as we’d ran out of 42’s and OMG!!! They have to be the best pads I have ever used, the feel you get back through the full range of the brake application is very good indeed, especially as you roll back off them. Why havnt I tried these before? (ok so Sean has been banging on about them for like 2 years now…).

Would highly recommend!!! Speak to John Shorrocks and as Sean says cheaper the pagids…

Bargain!!

Gav, I’ve been banging on about PF for 2 years now

I can get them at cost if you want some.

Damon

Will you be at Donny for the LOT races next weekend? If so, drop me a pm with a price for a full set (ie 4 pot fronts, standard rear calipers) please - ta.

My front pads are shagged so will need another set of RS42’s in the next week.

Willing to try these PF pads…where do I buy some?

Do the PF’s or the RS42’s Clack like the 14’s?? Mine sounds like its horse drawn at the moment

Yeah the PF’s do rattle up and down in the 4 pots a bit.

Surely not with retaining springs, Sean?

Boothy, you can get “buffer pads” from Eliseparts for that 4 x Anti-Rattle Brake Pad Buffers | EliseParts

Mine clank down whe you brake while reversing then the same again the first time you brake going forwards again.

Yeah Pesky with clips they will be fine, I just don’t run them.

Never changing from PF…excellent!

Mine do that all the time you are driving,

Anyone got a link for PF pads? I’m on hols but need to order something ready for my return in a weeks time. Was going to get 42’s but sounds like these are worth a punt.

You can buy these from us, we have them in stock. Can arrange delivery worldwide.

Might be best to pm as not too sure on forum rules re advertising here?
