just noticed that i soon will be needing to get new pads all round. does any 1 know of any good mid range pads as dont track the eixge but i will next year, so really looking for more of a pad for the road, saw pads from green, but thought i would ask on here first
I’ve never really used a road based pad (except RS42’s which are ) but my mate put greens on his elise and finds them worse than the oe stuff so i’d probably avoid those.
The new yellow stuffs seem to get a good write up on Seloc and they slate just about everything! Should be ok on track for a bit with them too. If you think about it it’s probably safer to have a pad with a more even bite than the racier pads at first as those are much more likely to lock your fronts up as they’re harder to modulate.
ok thanks neil will look into it now
Performance Friction pads get a lot of votes on here, they are a bit dusty but work well on and off track
I did think of those but he says he’s after a mid range pad for road use and PF’s are twice the price of the road based pads and mine have always squeeled like a biatch. They do last FOREVER though so even up in the long run on that front.
I used to have 42’s in my S2 road car and they were a great road pad.
