Went out for first time in 2008 yesterday. Car fired up first time in garage (thanks, no doubt, to the battery conditioner). Roads not as clean and dry as I had hoped but it was wonderful to hear the K series howling again – once nicely warmed up, of course.
Zipped over from Lancs to North Yorks, Hetton, Grassington and back but sadly as night drew in, had to take to the A59 and M6 to return.
Quick wash, garaged. Good start to year.
