After two days hard slog we’ve just about got our Exige to how we like it. The interior is nearly done, we’ve just got to finish cleaning the seats, and replace the radio (which Toby is fixing at the moment), all rubber floor mats were removed and cleaned under and all glass cleaned.
We’ve removed half the grilles and given them a lick of paint (cleaning the fog and reversing lights whilst they were off!), and removed the headlight covers cleaned the lenses and replaced. We polished it with Meguiars stages 1, 2 and 3 Toby even polished the exhaust (which is a first for him! )
lisa ill buy it back now lol
sorry it was such a mess more of a driver than a polisher
did you get the parcel ???
car looking really good
Hi Mike,
You’re not having it back after all that polishing and hard work
It wasn’t that bad, I’m just a polisher and a driver, so I have to have things looking the best I can, but if it gets grubby when I’m flat out having fun then it doesn’t matter! I’ll just polish it again on another day!
Yes thanks, we got the parcel today, there was no armourfend tho , did you send that seperatly?
I’ll send you some high res shots of the Exige on disc with your CD.
As you can see below, my racing puma after being course closing car on our club rally, it was looking fairly mint before I started, but I had great fun whilst closing each stage in the pissing rain, its all clean again now, although theres still mud in the wheel arches
Radio all back together and working now just need to find out what all the buttons do! I’m used to on/off, volume and Radio 4
New rear tyres should be with us early next week, then its refitting the cat (to make it a bit quieter and get it through the MOT) new rear discs and pads and MOT. Then its ready for the winter!

OK that answers the question on another thread! Are you then planning on taking it off again? You can’t prefer to listen to Radio 4 over a de-catted K? To be honest, i dont think you will be able to hear anything anyway.

I won’t be listening to Radio 4 when I drive it!! I’d much rather listen to the engine/exhaust
I guess we’ll see how much of a difference it makes to the exhaust noise as to whether we keep it on or remove it again, you can hear it about 3 miles away at the moment
P.S. Toby is an information sponge, so his brain has to be fed info all the time otherwise it’ll dry up - hence the Radio 4 thing!
there’s a benefit in that when coming home means the missus has had time to boil a kettle and have a cup of tea waiting as I walk through the door
That doesn’t work in our house as Toby is usually home before me He usually hears the clatter of my TDCi as I’m coming down the road or pulling on the drive!!
