It certainly was fast, about as quick as Tony’s Audi …
Bernard
Despite Tony only having “about 280bhp” Cough
The regs don’t state where the power is measured do they ? So everybody has assumed it would be measured at the wheels. Tony has about 275 BHP at the wheels.
Won’t mention the “30 second Rule”, but I bet you double check it before/at Donington
Yeah, was wondering about that. Anybody got it so they can quote ? Seems that if you have two drivers you get about a 20 second or more advantage over having a single driver. Is that what was intended ?
For 2 drivers there is no “time limit” ie change over as quick as you can, & then back out.
For 1 driver, the driver cannot get back into the car, until after 30 secs has elapsed of the car coming to a halt eg he could halt, he then sits in car for another 20 secs before jumping out, & after a further 10 secs (ie 30 secs after the car initially halted) he can then get back in. He could of course spend longer out of the car if he gets out sooner, but re-entry is only allowed after 30 secs of the car initially coming to a halt.

Clear as mud
Seems a pretty dumb rule to me, but agree that is what it appears to say. We’d better get two drivers next time eh ?
Great pictures yet again. Although the sheer magnitude of the mugshots is beginning to scare me…especially my own!
Hmmm, I must remember to brush my teeth next time
TSU are now offering a ‘Driver Retouch’ service where any driver portraits can be carefully and professionally photoshopped to whiten teeth, remove wrinkles/blemishes, darken grey hairs etc etc before upload to the gallery.
Strutting around the pits in your racesuit you may feel like Steve McQueen but let’s face it there is often a sizeable gap between the imagery in your head and what goes on our website. Let us help you bridge that gap
