Hope it wasnt too badly damaged seemed like he was going to escape ok when getting onto the gravel but it just carried on 
Didnt look too bad to be honest lucky escape really,
you can just see me escaping the dust cloud behind a red 211

Ouch indeed! Shame, it didn’t look like it would be more than a spin at first.
He turned in a mite too early and lifted off. In hindsight, it would have been better to have kept his foot in and bounce over the rough ground beyond the exit kerb. But ultimately, just the way it goes sometimes!
Just watched that, how can that be called a gravel trap, that wouldnt stopa push bike, no point in having them there, infact might as well do away with the grass too and just tarmak the lot and make it a huge run off, surely gravel traps are there to stop the cars not to just pebbledash the paintwork.
yeah agreed, the gravel would be better if it were put to use in driveways and have some high grip tarmac in place.
