Wanting to replace a worn out drivers side ‘Alcantara’ sill protector, but cannot find the 'official, name of the original Exige S1 ‘Red’ colour. The Lotus re-Trim shop has 2 choices… Ruby and Scarlet… but neither seem to match!
Any ideas please!

In the Exige Sales Brochure and release notes etc that I’ve seen it’s always been “red”.
The four Alcantara colours they offered were “RED, BLUE, SILVER, BLACK” No mention of fancy names from there on in.
Does anybody know any different?
I’d imagine it’s scarlet. Ruby is probably a much darker colour. This is just an educated guess

I had the handbrake tunnel on my s2 trimmed in leather. I asked for a red gear gaiter to match my car (Ardent Red). It came back a sort of dark burguny. When I complained, they said “Oh, maybe scarlet leather would have been a better match”. I got it swapped to scarlet, and it’s much better. I guess they’re similar colours to the alcantara options.
