No worries, at 24"x 8" I have been advised that it should even keep the noise meters at Bedford happy.
I will be interested to hear if the “U” bend bit has been modified as on mine it touched the ali panel and was generally too long and the bend was not tight enough radiius…Jim was going to modify the jig…
Also how you get on fitting the support hangers back into the boot floor…not a lot of clearance on mine!!!

I have a similar one with slash cut pipes, it was a bugger to fit.
Thank you Harvey! With the UK noise issues becoming severe, I knew the big 8"dia can would be needed on hi-power installs - it worked very well on the supercharged motors but I NEVER thought I’d be able to fit one to the S1’s - with a fixed clam, there isn’t a great deal of room back there! You need to remove the cat/de-cat before you have any chance to swing it in/up into the car. Two pair of hands better than one. Do NOT scratch my silencer!
The 180 bend into the system is now a lightweight, one-piece bend - amazing what good tooling can do. Again, clearances are tight but it will clear the LH alu panel. Previously I used a 7"dia x 26" silencer - but there just wasn’t enough space for that plus the 180 - sorry!
It used to be all about performance but I spend as much time/R&D on NOISE control now - very sad.
Looks like I am in good company and have chosen well in having it fitted by others - I have no patients
