That is Angelo’s car from what I hear.
I’m not questioning the power at all, but from what I have heard it still has the Hewland sequential gearbox in it that it had when it left Lotus. I have been searching for a transverse sequential that will handle big power and torque and Hewland don’t make one, I have had several chats with them.
If it is indeed 500bhp and 450ish lbft, I am seriously interested in what gearbox is in it!!
Yep, it’s still got a Hewland in it Sean… a PCW at the moment… I think they are a bit worried about the longevity of it.
Apparently they are looking at an EGTW as a possible replacement ?? (means nothing to me!)
WOW, EGTW is �17,168 + vat and that doesn’t include the bell housing or shafts or anything. Cool man. Doesn’t detail it on the Hewland website so can’t tell what torque it will handle.
