Once a sports car fan, always a sports car fan

No wish to start a trend but I unearthed this picture the other days of yours truly at the wheel of his first car.
Looking suitably suave I think you’ll agree. . .

I hope it can be seen, it took me the best part of two hours to scan in and upload.Didn’t look big enough when I clicked on. Such vanity!

You havent changed a bit.
But it does remind me, I’m sure there is one of me in a similar situation, so I’ll have to look it out… off rummaging…

You must have peddled fast Steve, your hat has blown off

I also had a similar Austin around the same time as Thommo

You guys were so lucky, I had to hammer mine together and get my brother to push…
Peddles…you are so spoiled.

Some things never change, do they Frankie!

Well, thanks chaps for taking a look at little ol’ me.
And, as for Tim, I have another shot with headgear on (and goggles) if you’d like to take a look!

I’m a bit worried Mr P, we seem to have lived parallel lives from Austin pedal cars to Oulton Park and Yogi Muir . . . and beyond.
The next thing I know I’ll be driving a dayglo motorcar with a Honda S/C

Go on then, that sounds cool :sunglasses:
