OK I would may chop in the Exige for this...

…the Ferrari 250 SWB Berlinetta which was parked up at work today.

I think it belongs to Chris Evans but he was not driving it. Absolutely, completely stunning and sounded the business too. So small, so purposeful, so elegant,…just perfect :sunglasses: I reckon if I move the Exige on I’ll be about 1% of the way there to raising the money :unamused:

not really fezza fan, but that is very nice and all the better for not being red

Me neither but mate,…this thing was glorious :sunglasses:

 Lovely, sadly only a dream for most of us :frowning:

There was some banter on the Chris Evans Show this morning about a meeting he might be attending today - so now we know where it was… He did mention about having to wear a hat to drive his new car. So besides it having no heater, LHD, and a rear lamp cluster like an A40, it looks like the dogs bits. Nipple’esk headlamps leading into the front wings, nice air scoops below - need to go somewhere private…

Apparently Chris was not driving it, it was a young bloke. I’ve seen lots of nice motors but in the metal this really did take your breath away.

Magnificent cars - especially those used as intended, rather than posing & being polished!

A couple of pics from Tour Auto 2010 when SJW & myself played fanboys:

Lord Laidlaw’s GTO

And finally, another totally, totally fantastic motor, albeit an Aston Martin

Wow :sunglasses:

We’ve got a similar kinda vibe going on for people with toy-funds approximately 100 times smaller

I am back from that “private place” to learn that the car was driven by young chap. What is going on? I am 52, worked my butt off all my life my life and my ardour gets squashed by this.

My learned colleague advised me ‘probably some footballer type’ was piloting.

Thinking about contemporary fezzas, I saw an F12 at the weekend and know someone with an FF,…those just look like big clumsy oafs next to this sylphlike beauty.

Yup stick a Honda in that…perfick  I’m joking I’m joking.

Simply gorgeous. Christ, give me a lottery win, please!

i really like the FF, one parks up near work in dark grey

Yes, as an ex M-coupe breadvan owner I like the FF but it is fookin huge and heavy. If you parked an FF next to a 250 the FF would look oversized and clumsy.

Ferrari 250 SWB is the best Fezza of all time IMHO :sunglasses: Stunning car.

100% agree, Tim. The noise that engine makes is truly glorious.

Wow that is awesome looking. What is one of those worth then?

About £3m I think!!

Neat post Ben…

But I reckon in another 10 years guys, there will be posts on other forums with lots of S1 Exige piccies and words extolling the verities of the marque in the same way as the Fezza!.

The grass is not greener on the other side of the fence!

Just a big 1960s Lotus Elite isn’t it?
