…the Ferrari 250 SWB Berlinetta which was parked up at work today.
I think it belongs to Chris Evans but he was not driving it. Absolutely, completely stunning and sounded the business too. So small, so purposeful, so elegant,…just perfect I reckon if I move the Exige on I’ll be about 1% of the way there to raising the money
There was some banter on the Chris Evans Show this morning about a meeting he might be attending today - so now we know where it was… He did mention about having to wear a hat to drive his new car. So besides it having no heater, LHD, and a rear lamp cluster like an A40, it looks like the dogs bits. Nipple’esk headlamps leading into the front wings, nice air scoops below - need to go somewhere private…
I am back from that “private place” to learn that the car was driven by young chap. What is going on? I am 52, worked my butt off all my life my life and my ardour gets squashed by this.
My learned colleague advised me ‘probably some footballer type’ was piloting.
Thinking about contemporary fezzas, I saw an F12 at the weekend and know someone with an FF,…those just look like big clumsy oafs next to this sylphlike beauty.
Yes, as an ex M-coupe breadvan owner I like the FF but it is fookin huge and heavy. If you parked an FF next to a 250 the FF would look oversized and clumsy.
But I reckon in another 10 years guys, there will be posts on other forums with lots of S1 Exige piccies and words extolling the verities of the marque in the same way as the Fezza!.
The grass is not greener on the other side of the fence!
