I want to do an oil change on Shrek before he retires to the Ogre Swamp for Christmas! 
I use to use Mobil One fully synth 5W50 but it is no longer made! Not sure if the 10W60 Castrol Edge or Motul offerings are too ‘thick’ for a ‘young’ 12k engine?
Would appreciate any thoughts please, or suggestions for what oil regime to move into.

I use the Motul 300V Competition 15/50. That’s just fine

Another vote for 300V here - just dont thrash it until its warmed up a bit
I used Shell Helix Ultra 15-50, if only because on a service sheet it appears to be what the “Edwards” have used in the past. I would not worry about the cold spec, it does not get VERY cold in the UK and if it does, like two years ago, I expect your Exige is not going anywhere.
