Oil temp and pressure gauge sensor plumbing?

I am thinking of installing a SPA oil pressure/temp gauge to monitor my vhpd engine. Just wonder where you guys install the sensor and what parts i should need? I am planning to get the gauges from merlinmotorsport so would be ideal that i can get parts i need from them too, cheers

Apparently(just been told by merlin) as for the sensors, the pressure sensor is 1/8" BSP and the temperature sensor is 1/8" NPT. It seems that EP or ES don’t do anything for BSP…

Yeah that’s pretty common.

I mounted my temp sensor in the oil filter housing (and also a second one in the sump plug, just out of interest), and I’ve installed the pressure sensor along with the OEM oil pressure switch in a remote-mounted tee-piece connected to the engine via a small length of braided hose. The Pressure sensors have a habit of dying in short time with excessive vibrations.
