At my first track day my car accumulated a large amount of “soot” on the rear of the car.I pulled the undertray and there was a small amount (5" diameter circle) of burnt oil on the tray. The oil appears to be coming from the oil pressure sensor, but I haven’t figured out if it is coming from the connection to the block or the switch.Anyone else have this problem?
Try a search on ‘soot’ in Q&A, as I seem to remember there was a similar prob resently.
That was my problem - I just hadn’t gotten the undertray off at the time of the post. I had time to get a look around this weekend and was posting my findings.
