Hi everyone,
After looking into some mods on my VHPD and gaining a few bhp it seems that another problem is the oil temperature. What would the best way to keep things a little cooler.
Cheers in advance.

What oil temps are you seeing?
Upto 120 degrees don’t even worry about it. Just as a guideline my BMW 135i (standard 58 plate road car) has an oil temp gauge and the normal temperature is between 110 and 120.
If you are seeing higher than 120 degrees, then the easiest way to incorporate an oil cooler is with an oil / water laminova from Mocal.
Nice one Sean, not seeing any temps but upping the power abit. Just want to stop thing from going wrong in the future. I take it the kits are simple to fit?
Yeah they aren’t to bad. Just think about your oil pipe runs, as you will be close to the exhaust manifold in places.
Sean…
Hi,
I currently run a 13 row mocal oil cooler with a thermostatic sandwich plate. I also have a temp gauge with shows oil temp to remain below 90 degress C on a motorway cruise/ spirited driving.
Probably one of the best mods I’ve done…
Ben.
