Duratec reads up to 8 bar aswell.

That is a huge amount of pressure. Just think how hard the pump is having to work. What are you guys doing for an oil breather???
I see 4 to 5 bar when cold and with my oil temp at 115 degrees and the engine at tick over it was just under 2 bar. In my experiance these levels are fine. Although I am not happy about the oil temp at all.
I am having a new oil cooler rad made to mount in the std position, but my new rad is three times thicker, so fingers crossed that will sort it.
