Recently had the MIL light come on my S for no obvious reason …although the dealer will sort this problem I found myself helpless as to read the error code and have an idea of the problem an OBDII scanner is required…so I’m planning to buy an “OBD+KEY” scanner…has anyone here used this or similar device to read the Lotus ECU memory?

the actron obd ii readers work just fine, some scanners don’t work on lotus cars because the ecu’s lotus use have very slow response times, so they time out on connection, somes you have to try a few times to get them to connect.

I just received it and will post up in a couple of days after I try it out, I chose the bluetooth option to use with a Palm Treo.
