Nyloc Lakes Weekend 4/5 June

Anyone fancy a trip to the Lakes next weekend, with a view to perhaps meeting up with some of the Nylocers? They’re going to be based at the Burnside Hotel (Bowness) http://www.burnsidehotel.com/index.php

Mother in Law’s birthday BBQ - guess where I’d rather be…

Have a good one,

Mark

Shame but I am on hols. Have a good one

I’ll try pm sat, in the Mondeo + Sherman

Rob, PMd you via Nyloc.

Been away for the last three weeks so will need to get to Bowness at some point over the weekend, just not sure when yet. Any definite plans Rob/Steve? Not signed up to Nyloc to view any details.

Steve (both of you!)

PM me your email address, & I’ll send you itinery etc.

Rob

You have PM Rob

I’ll be there, but in the Elise - you S1 Exige boys are going to fry (hopefully - if weather forcasters are to be believed)

Just take the roof off the Exige!! Only S2 gay boys need apply

I may struggle to get there now. Still looking at options though so fingers crossed for sat or sun.

Roll call

SimonE - all weekend, present and correct Sir but in the wife’s car
Pesky - present for most of yesterday but perhaps absent after 2300hrs last night - Rob’s unreserved Exige caused quite a stir in the Lakes
Steve - Exigeless but was keen to cycle 70 miles to be present - well done that man
Thommo - came up today in his car - these VHPD’s are so reliable

Good turn out chaps

Twas quite brilliant, indeedy! :sunglasses: Aye, it was great tro see “Lycra Boy” again…& his missus too

I think I survived until 2am, Simon, but I have absolutely no recollection of moving from the bar/lounge to the place where I woke up at 9.30… & that’s the honest truth! Can’t believe I didn’t have a hangover this morning, but I didn’t!

You are quite correct Rob my missus told me I didn’t retire until 0300hrs so your timing is prob right

Never noticed Steve’s missus

I can’t believe you didn’t have a hangover either

As usual - great company

I return the compliment, Sir!

Shouldn’t you be on Nyloc?

2am I’ll not mention that to Lorraine  she wanted to buy you another glass of the vino at 12:30 but you slumped back in your chair and muttered that you were off to bed, prompting her to ring us a taxi… :frowning:

We really enjoyed our time in the bar, great to catch up with you and Simon again and meet the rest of a great bunch.

It was definitley a petrolheads weekend in the Lakes, along with the awesome selection of Loti, passed half a dozen Gordon Keebles at the infamous Damson Dean Hotel, a convoy of Focus RS’s Sunday morning and had a close shave with a stunning MK1 RS2000 who was not expecting a cyclist on the back road to Brigsteer :astonished:

Steve

Time - I’ll believe anything, cos I just can’t remember anything after a certain point… I hope I said goodnight to you & Lorraine before either you or I left the lounge!

Saw the Gordon Keebles in Bowness on Saturday evening - lovely :sunglasses: The RS’s were driving past the hotel on Sunday morning, just as Thommo & myself were leaving - superb turnout, must have been 20 odd of them, & they certainly have great “road presence”.

You were the perfect gentleman as usual Rob, giving Lorraine a hug and me the finger as we left
